Shri Harsh Kumar Singhal, an eminent educationist, a visionary, philosopher and a guide, dreamt of a school where education is holistic in nature and is accessible to each individual. He remained committed to this throughout his life. His vision continues to guide and motivate us. We make a very honest and sincere endeavour to impart education for the all-round development of students i.e. physical, emotional, spiritual and intellectual in a congenial atmosphere under the guidance of a competent, vigilant, aware and highly qualified team to steer the institutes to the pinnacle of success.   • Basant Panchmi Celebration of Class Play to LKG
    Basant Panchmi is a festival that marks the arrival of spring. It is the festival dedicated to Goddess Saraswati, who is the goddess of Knowledge, language and music. Kids celebrated the day by wearing yellow clothes and praying Goddess Saraswati. They bought yellow dishes in their lunch.

     

  • E-summit at IIT Roorkee
    A group of 53 students were accompanied by Ms. Jasbir Kaur and Ms. Jyotsana Pundir and took part in Entrepreneurship workshop at IIT Roorkee. The workshop was conducted by eminent industrialists who briefed the students about the importance of entrepreneurship and its role in shaping the Indian Economy. The students put up a volley of questions to the industrialists who responded with enthusiasm and clarity. The students also participated in a quiz in which they won and stood out victorious. The talent of the students was also seen in the logo making competition. The workshop was a gift to all those students who wanted to enhance their knowledge and analytical skills from the most talented faculty at IIT Roorkee. The students also received a certificate of merit and a shield for the school.

     

  • Pec Card Activity
    Students of class Nursery performed activity on missing alphabets. The object of this activity for the students is to figure out which letters are missing from the section of alphabets and they pick alphabet and put it to fill in blank. It is the great way for students to practice & learn the order of the alphabets.

     

  • Swine Flu Awareness
    On the wake of rising number of swine flu cases, an awareness session on Swine Flu was held in "The Doon Valley Public School" on 30th Jaunary,2019. PowerPoint presentation was given in each class which gave awareness about the dos and don'ts to prevent the spread of H1N1 influenza (swine flu) infection. As children form the most vulnerable group to such communicable diseases, so to protect them from swine flu preventive measures were explained to children like proper hand washing technique, sneezing methods etc. Identifying their skills as the best messengers of information, they were motivated to further convey the messages to their parents, family and community members.

  • Republic Day Celebration of Class 3 to Class 12
    The second edition of "Parikksha Pe Charcha 2.0", Hon'able Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with a total of 2,000 students, parents and teachers in the national capital on 29th Jan, 2019. With less than two months to go for the Class 10 and Class 12 exams, PM Modi discussed ways to handle the exam stress with students in an interactive session at the Talkatora Stadium, wherein for the first time , students from across the country got a chance to participate in the event. Our school made necessary arrangement so that our students could view " Pariksha Pe Charcha". It was a nice session. PM answered the questions of parents & students with lots of enthusiasm and positive approach. His humorous aspect of handling the questions of parents & students was marvelous. His interactive way of motivating the students was highly appreciated by students & teachers who felt relieved of the examination stress.

     

  • CBSE Merit Certificate holder from Class 10 & Class 12
    It gives us profound happiness to share with you all the good news of success and glory acclaimed by our students of class X Priyanshu Gupta, Pratham Goyal, Sanyam Tyagi, Ummey Kulsoom Shah, Vanshika Pundir, Abdul Raza, Anjali Singh, Harsh Morya, Kanika Kapil, Sania Siddiqui, Sidra, Tarun Jain, Vaibhav Singhal & Rashi Pundir who have been awarded the certificate of merit by the CBSE for their excellence in various subjects. This certificate is awarded to the top 0.1% of the successful candidates only which speaks volumes of our students and faculty members.

     

  • Republic Day Celebration of Class 3 to Class 12
    The Doon Valley Public School celebrated 26th January Republic Day with a lot of enthusiasm and positive spirit. The school witnessed a large turnout of students and teachers who had gathered in the School Auditorium. The program started at 10 am unfurling the National flag by the chairman of TDVPS Mr. Rajkishore ji. Then the National Anthem was sung with the true spirit of patriotism. The children recited slogans with made the atmosphere charged with feelings of patriotism. Students presented patriotic speeches and poems which proved to one and all the true essence of devotion to our nation, The children put up a fabulous performance of dance and group songs which added to the beauty of the program. The day ended on a positive note with the speech of the Principal and distribution of sweets to all.

     

  • Republic Day Celebration of Class Play to Class 2
    Happy Republic Day! Let's together spread the message that tricolor gives sacrifice,peace,prosperity and progressive nature among the people. Keeping in mind the same, our kids celebrated Republic Day with great zeal & enthusiasm by reciting rhymes, narrating speech & some patriotic dances.

     

  • Republic Day Craft
    The students of TDVPS Play & Nursery presented their patriotism by showing the taste for Art and Craft activity by tearing and pasting. They decorated a kite with earbuds by dabbing them with colours and designing a pigeon on a paper outline with cotton. The beaming faces of students was a moment to witness.

     

  • Air Force Station Visit to Sarsawa
    The students of The Doon Valley Public School went to Air Force Station Sarsawa accompanied with their teachers. The students and teachers were welcomed by the Group Captain at the base station. They were shown the video of the various aircraft and the various guns that are used by the Indian Air Force and their working. The enthusiastic students put forth their questions about the working of the Helicopters and fighter planes. The students were so happy to see the planes from so close. It was a memorable experience to visit an Air Base.
